Huge win for us. That puts us 6 points clear of Betpiss with only 5 games to play.
A top 4 finish now looks a lot more secure after the latest round of results. We should be home and dry now.

Always made to suffer till the end. Glad we’re actually scoring goals now cause our defense is not at its best. AND we’re doing all this without a striker. Amazing.
Ocampos going into pass-first mode is such great character progression. Never thought I’d see it.

Oh don’t get me wrong, I like this new Sevilla and sincerely hope we carry on in this fashion. It’s been entertaining to watch over the last few games and would far rather this than 1-0 wins or goalless draws.
Long may it continue! It’s long overdue after some of what we’ve had to endure.

This was very similar to the Granada game at home (4-2) and we at least tried to play some football and go for the win.

We could potentially have Martial back for that game as well. Not necessarily his best position, but he was playing well there against Madrid before he was hurt.

Rafa Mir deserved a goal for his perfect header that looked in the back of the net until the goalkeeper scraped it away.
The Koundé goal was beautiful, poetry in motion.
I’m delighted that we are temporarily in second position and consolidating a top 4 place.
But, for me I’ve seen enough of this football style. I really can’t go along with this any longer, I’ve had enough of this manager.

Absolutely, forgot to mention this but had it in my mind. I think he could score more goals with better service and a more attacking play.

As I said in another thread, it would be hard to justify sacking him finishing second or third. Even securing 4th is what he was asked to do.
I’m not saying keep him but that’s how those making the decision will see it.
No coincidence either that results and performances have improved since players have returned. We’re now at full strength with the exception of Fernando. How different would it have been with this?

That’s not my position, I’m just a humble supporter not a shareholder. My position is that I’m fed up of the football style with this manager. If the club wants him I’m with the club, the club has fulfilled all my dreams.

To be fair, on reflection, we’re probably doing as well as could have been expected considering the circumstances which have gone against us this season with injuries etc. Real are so far ahead of everyone else.
The rest of the distant pack, us, Barca, Atleti and :poop:, are in a dog fight for Champions League places and as things stand we’re out in front. In the league at least it certainly isn’t all bad.
I’m leaning towards the Lope out camp for other reasons to this but I see myself as fairly in the middle on this and like Tim will respect whatever decision the club make. The only way I’d not respect this is if we managed to squander 4th (looking unlikely).
