🇪🇸 La Liga - Primera Division - Matchday 27 | Sevilla FC vs Rayo Vallecano de Madrid

I’ll take the point. We still in trouble. The win at getafe was huge.

We unable to go on a streak of wins. We are trying to draw our way to safety.

At least we 6 above Mallorca but need to get to 40/42 points fast.

Needed all three there. Playing Carmona at wing when Januzaj was coming off some good matches is weird.

Next 3 games is

Barca (away)

Valencia (home)

Oviedo (away)

That HAS to Give 4 points, AT LEAST. There is simply No Way around it.

It might be an okay point to stay up I feel. We limping towards safety but we still need to be careful.

Valencia at home is nasty. We got more chance at Oviedo away.

Disappointed with a draw at home but I’ll take it. Maintains our unbeaten run and six point advantage over Mallorca in the bottom three as well as keeps us level with Rayo in the table.

Need to turn some of these draws into wins as still work to do to get to safety.

Barca away will be tough to get anything but I agree with others that we need four points minimum from the Valencia and Oviedo games.

Really feel like lost 3 points.. Rayo didnt have anything other than their wonderstrike.

We definitely settled for the draw. There was no drive to really go for it. Just whether Ejuke or Oso could provide a moment of magic. Removing our target man nullified most of any crosses in the box or launches upfield, and Isaac got hung out to dry.

But in a relegation fight, you take what you can get. This team has looked hopeless many times this season, so at least we’re seeing some kind of return.

So guys, can we do the double on Barça next week?

Sidenote: did anybody else feel like that was Azpi’s last game?

I hope not! But if he misses one more game he wont automatically get renewed

Yeah, I was thinking that, too. Really, deeply needing Nianzou to keep good form like today, or we’re toast. The spell without Azpi, Nianzou and Marcao was a freefall that we can’t afford to repeat. Not signing Ramos may end up looking like a huge own goal if Nianzou doesn’t end up working out this spring.

Very hard to watch Azpi crestfallen on the bench after the injury.

He looked several steps off the pace whenever he got beat. I saw Salas cover for him a couple times. Thankfully, it was one of those days where he wasn’t at fault for a major gaffe, from what i seen at least.

He needs more of these lowkey matches. Every game he would feature in, he’d put his foot wrong somewhere, and it just stains his entire performance. Just remembered today we used to call him TANK.
