Yeah needed these 3 points… somehow got to scrap these home results out. Its our best chance to stay in the division

We’re consistently punished with reds, statistically improbable amounts for dirty Sevilla, it needs investigating. Well, Negreira is being investigated for taking €14m over the years and his wife had a misterious €3m turn up in her bank account, FC Barca paid him for advice and they always had the lowest number of red cards. Things that make you go Hmmm.

Sounds like i did not miss much. That win has prob saved pepper man with some tough games coming up. Athletic, :poop: and Barca. Gulp.

Peque, Lukebakio and Ejuke come up for player of the game. We really need a centreforward though.

Just watched 9 minutes of highlights on YouTube even that was hard going. Some players are really giving there all in a team with little confidence and in certain areas a real lack of quality to seriously compete in this division.

Man we needed that. Somehow Lukebakio wasn’t given the MOTM award.

Has anyone seen the recent twitter post on Sevilla ENG account which is the English
version. A post match dressing room talk announcement of the manager and coaching staff rewarded with a two year extension

Couple interesting points from watching the highlights.

Iheanacho gets his first goal contribution with his assist to Peque. Which, btw, if I’m Peque, I’m celebrating that goal with the guy who gave me the easy tap-in goal. Not to take anything away from Peque for putting it in the back of the net, but realistically, the assistant was nicer than the goal.

Also, no assist given on the Ejuke goal, per se, but I think Gudelj deserves the assist for having broken up the defense with a solid tackle on the Valladolid player.

Kudos to all the lads, to be honest, from the replay it looks like we both deserved the win and fought valiantly to get it.

As I’ve been saying for a while, I think this year the team has more raw talent quotient than last season, albeit younger, less seasoned talent. I think we can make this season into something. It’s not our first rough start, but hopefully the squad starts to gel from here on out. And GarcĆa Pimienta stops picking dumb squad lists.

Gotta give the team time to gel and the coach time to adjust to big boy ball. The question is how long you give them? Gotta give them enough time I would say. But gotta find the balance. I see improvement though.

That was Lukebakio right? All Iheanacho did was head a shot the wrong direction and sky an easy shot over the bar.

Argh, watched it on my phone in low res. Well, I guess Iheanacho has sadly STILL not contributed to a goal

I didn’t think he was terrible today. Was active, led to a few shots, but his finishing seems to be letting him down.

Too heavy, not in weight but in playing style.

Just glad we managed to get the win last night. We didn’t play well but I’m really not bothered right now. Need to be winning games at home like that and against Getafe and we have managed to even if they were a struggle.

Very important to win with tough games against Athletic, Barca and :poop: to come where we could easily end up empty handed in all.

I would suggest Pimienta could be in trouble if we were to lose all three, especially with there being a derby match.

He’s safe don’t worry. They offered him a contract extension even before the match last night, so mediocrity is an advantage in Sevilla.

just thought this picture was really cool. Agoume did so well at the end of the match when it came to wasting time.
