Both wings are too isolated and are being closed down as soon as they receive the ball. Need to try and get Peque forward and let him link up with Iheanacho as another outlet in attack

It’s like watching Sevilla in 2003-04, exciting moves with unexpected variations mostly coming from Peque, Lukebakio and Ejuke. The transition from defence is much improved but still not great. Iheanacho, as I predicted, was offside with just the goalkeeper to beat and he somehow got his feet mixed up and managed to back-heel the ball away from goal, 0/10. He doesn’t win anything in the aerial battles, doesn’t even arrive to contest them, so he’s a waste of space basically.

We played decent but these are strong team. You can’t switch off for a second. We still in this though. A point would be massive result. Vamos!

It was a poor decision on the offside miss, but he needs more support. He’s left chasing long balls to nowhere, with defenders too close to him. I feel his situation is somewhat to the way YEN would be used at times by managers. He needs someone to play balls for him to run onto, rather than just lumping it forward towards his head.

Ejuke in full flight is a joy to watch. Good to see Sevilla manufacture a couple of shots from the edge of the box, even if they weren’t very effective
