La Liga 24/25 Matchday 31 - Sevilla FC at Valencia

First half we played okay and were unlucky to go in behind. A few decisions didn’t go our way and we weren’t clinical with the chances we did have.

Second half we faltered unfortunately and Valencia took control and could have won by more in the end. We were garbage and I never thought we’d get back in it once. You can tell they’re a team playing with a lot of confidence and fair play their new manager has transformed them.

Four defeats in a row now which is worrying and hoping results go our way this weekend. A big must win game at home to Alaves next weekend to ensure we don’t get sucked into a relegation fight. Pimienta must be under pressure now and maybe it will be the final straw if we fail to win this.

Think the key is before that when Gaya clearly plays the ball. I’ve seen refereeing injustices for some teams this season, Sevilla included, that wasn’t one of them. In the end, Sevilla’s attackers had enough chances to score and fluffed them. If they’d been more efficient then Sevilla would have won.

I agree. It wasn’t a penalty. To be fair the ref and VAR had a good game. No complaints and wish they were competent like this more of the time.
