Sevilla is depressing to be honest.
Looking at us play is depressing, to say the least. It induces toxicity.
Our main point of reference is not even the golden era of 2006-7 anymore. We’re now very far even from the Emery era… Or Sampaoli era, or any mildly successful era that you can think of.
This is why I took a break from watching this pitiful team.
Won’t be able to watch the second half and hope we win, but playing like this… I think an extended break is needed.

Me too but I think we’ll win it now and maybe the referee will turn on the Athletic that he’s favoured in the first half.
Saul threw his arms up to jump (like most players do) and an Athletic player got his shoulder under Saul’s elbow and shoved his arm up to contact the ball, a penal but not a penal in the spirit of football.
But Nyland, Salas and Badé play like they’ve never played together before, I don’t know what they practice on the training ground but clearly it doesn’t include them.
Saul and Sow are indeed quite useless, we’ve got talent up front and we’re not able to provide the supply line, shameful.

It shows where we are. When we play the top sides we get found out. I fear for the derby too as they have better players than us. I just hope they bottle it again.
If we finish mid table I will be delighted. Unfortunately Lukebakio was off today and when he off form we struggle to score. Hardly any other player steps up.
I feel for our defenders who played well but we can’t rely on 1-0 or 0-0’s if we can’t score enough

The level of boring of this game was on par with Lope’s tenure. Nyland played well though.
Guess el gran derbi midfield will be Sambi & Bueno/Saul next to eachother with Juanlu behind the striker.
