Exactly. The lack of match understanding to match the speed of the subs and stave off the momentum shift was horrible today.

I feel he has helped our pattern of play and we do play decent football under this manager. However, he is slow at making subs and his game management isnât the best. I feel if he was better in this department we would have a few more points.
It frustrating because there is quality in this side especially up front but he sometimes stifles that with his inability to make subs at the right or adapt to changes from the opposition.
The players are playing for him and his football is good to watch but he needs to improve in the 2nd half of managing matches.

It has taken me some time to think about things after this match. This, 7th vs 13th, but still have the chance to over take, on the back of a 4-0 win, was as must win as it got, and as we have seen at home against Valencia and Espanyol, yet again we have blown it and our home form is now a very serious cause for concern.
You can clearly see that we have the team playing for the manager, who at times definitely doesnât make the best decisions and this was demonstrated last night. In particular there was an issue with the defensive organisation but Nyland was badly caught out for that goal and he has given me a lot of worry since returning from injury. Itâs necessary to bring in a new goalkeeper in the summer.
The reality is that now it could end up being no wins at home for three months and questions must be asked regarding that, to the players and also to Garcia Pimienta, who I donât believe should be fired but questions should be asked of what he is doing because that is now three matches at home that we should have won and have dropped easy points. Itâs not on.

What about the goalkeeper we brought in last summer? From what Iâve seen I donât think he has performed particularly worse. I think he deserves some more starts.
