Isaac had a great game today. Juanlu, Vargas and Lukebakio good too. We have some great firepower up front. The issues in defence and central midfield but we strong on the wings and up front. We been clinical today!

Lukebakio makes it 4. Send Valladolid down, now!

Why can’t we do this every week… Our best performance for years…

Woo hoo! Lukebakio and great assist from Ejuke! It been too long seeing us win big like this. Valladolid are terrible but still good for confidence.

We probably could if we played Valladolid every week.

As bad as Valladolid was, at least we displayed the difference in quality. Many times we played teams just as bad, and we didn’t make it count.

I do, we had a couple of beers opposite the stadium, I’ve still got the scarf :+1:

Ejuke to Dodi, 4-0, sounds great. Juanlu’s best game this far in his career. All four goals had a some quality about them, especially the Isaac goal.

Agreed. I’m impressed how ruthless we were today and put them to the sword. We played very well today and bodes well for games ahead because we have the quality up front to hurt teams. We were great on the counter attack today and took our goals with aplomb.

We played very well today. It was against the bottom club but a morale booster regardless. We need more of this. Juanlu was so good today, now we have Mallorca at home next week, I think the last time that we won at home was against Celta Vigo at mid december, even having hosted Valencia and Espanyol since then. So lets beat Mallorca, through any means necessary.

just wanna point out that we’re only four points behind rayo who are in a spot for conference league qualification…

That’s the best I’ve seen us play for a long time. When was the last time we scored 4 away from home?. I can’t remember.
Although I’m not a big fan of his I thought Agoume did really well today, far better than we have seen in previous games. On that performance I would start him ahead of Saul.

Thought we were excellent today. Ruthless up front and on the counter and scored some great goals. We easily could have scored a few more.

Juanlu had a fantastic game and we really look like we have so much firepower going forward with Vargas (reminds me of Ocampos a little), Lukebakio, Ejuke etc. A lovely goal from Isaac as well which will help his confidence.

Yes, Valladolid were terrible and by some margin the worst team we’ve played this season (surely they’re doomed already) but we still had to do the job and did that we did.

Hoping for another positive result in what will be a sterner test at home to Mallorca next Monday. Just four points behind Rayo in 6th so European places to fight for if we can keep this form going!

We’re capable of doing this against other teams, but we lack that player in midfield that can string it all together. Saul admitted himself he hasn’t fully recovered from his last injury, and Suso will probably get injured during the warmup of his next start.

Peque isn’t trusted anymore to even play the #10 role. A shame, cause both he and Isaac can use a partner. I think Juanlu’s inclusion worked today cause we were always more likely to get more chances in transition being away from home. For his 2nd goal, as well as Dodi’s goal, they kept it simple in the counter and found the open man. But when it’ll be time to break down a defense, we will need a bit more playmaking. Peque being on the bench this much is hurting us.

Perhaps Vargas will pickup that role once Ejuke can start games again.

This is all so farcical and really damaging for the club, screw you Tebas.

How is this even calculated?

I believe it’s some kind of estimate of how much money you could spend without dipping into reserves or without taking on debt or something to that effect … But that’s just a vague recollection, could be totally wrong

Its BS really. While in some way it definitely represents bad financial management we along with other more currently successful clubs have nothing with regards to TV money while RM and Barca get everything. As well, this, singular (im sure there are others which dispute what im saying), statistic does represent that we are aiming for survival really this season and anything else is a bonus. Seems that next season wont be that different. Hopefully also next season we can still make good business in the summer market to strengthen the team.

Can’t help but note the irony in the guy convicted of EMBEZZLING FUNDS criticizing the guy who is “taking” a salary. These things are not the same.

Sorry, Papi Del Nido gets no sympathy from me. Fuera all the Del Nidos.
