We did great in all the winnable games at home overall. Impressive win as Sevilla record against celta in recent past not been great. Above :poop: too and into 10th! Happy days!

This is the moment that got me after the game. Navas walked toward the Biris, removed his shirt, folded it so only the number showed, not the name, and pointed to the sky.

Super happy for Navas that we won the game.

But damn Iheanacho must be the worst player I have ever seen. That man could do absolutely nothing right. Seemed like we played the first half with 10 man + one pure sabotage. He didn’t even try. Random Pascual gets subbed in and we finally get some spirit upfront with some grip on the game.

Well that somewhat backfired on :poop: didn’t it. :stuck_out_tongue_winking_eye:
We win with a goal scored by a player who would not have been on the pitch had they not complained

So pleased that we managed to get the win for Navas in his last ever home game for us. Very emotional scenes. For me the greatest player to ever grace this club. A legend.

Another important win last night which cements us comfortably into mid-table. Real next week is a free hit. The good thing is we have been winning the winnable home games this season and that’s keeping things respectable.

I spent a very pleasant hour before the game with @Brian and his lovely wife and we had a drink or two before going to the stadium. Probably just as well because it calmed me down before the game…

Is Navas the last of the 2010 World Cup winners to retire?

It was great to meet you Tim, we will have to do it again sometime.
Thanks once again for the book, I’ll read it during our xmas break on the coast and report back.
I had a quick look at the 1st few pages last night and if the smiles per page ratio continues throughout I will certainly enjoy it.
