La Liga 24/25 - Matchday 11 - Sevilla FC at Espanyol

RCD ESPANYOL (15th - 10pts)
vs
SEVILLA FC (13th - 12pts)

Kickoff: 2100 CET — RCDE STADIUM

Look, that away match against Barcelona was an anomaly. Unfortunately, the lingering damage was the loss of Ejuke for a few months from a severe hamstring injury. This means we’ll already need a lift from someone else after we had just gotten our wings. :disappointed:

Our away form isn’t the greatest. Barring the Barça defeat, we sit at 3 draws and a loss, showing we manage to stay in these games. Our recent record against Espanyol sees us at 9 matches unbeaten in the league. Although we’re a very different side these days, this is still a team we are capable of beating.

All eyes will be on how Pimienta chooses to replace Ejuke on the left. The centre of midfield is also interesting with the return to fitness for Lokonga & Sow, both appearing as substitutes last weekend. And as Nianzou returns from his suspension, does he deserve to regain his spot in the starting lineup?

I think everyone in and around the club knew we’d see many challenges this season. But i know this club doesn’t cower after a few setbacks. Jesús Navas is living proof. We are not leaving Catalunya empty handed. :triumph:

VAMOS MI SEVILLA !!!
